Change language and currency

ATIS is written in English, Dari (دری), and Pashto (پښتو). The language is part of every page address: pages under /en/ are in English, /fa/ in Dari, and /ps/ in Pashto. Prices can be shown in US dollars (USD), Afghanis (AFN), or UAE dirhams (AED).

1. To change the language, use the language switch in the header and choose English, دری, or پښتو.
2. ATIS opens the same page in that language. If the page has no version in that language yet, you go to that language's home page.
3. To change the currency, open the pricing page and choose a code under Currency. When you are signed in, you can also choose it under Preferences in your account menu.
4. Prices are then shown in that currency wherever an exchange rate is available.

Good to know

• ATIS remembers your language the next time you open the site's main address. A link to a page always opens in the language of that link.
• Some Dari and Pashto pages are still being translated. Until they are ready, you may see the English text with a note.
• The currency you choose is remembered on this device for about a year.
• When you are signed in, the currency is saved in your account, so it follows you to every device. Choosing a currency on the pricing page while signed in changes the account setting.
• Signed-in members also have a Preferences page in the account menu: choose your language (used for emails and notifications too), currency, light or dark screen, and the time zone dates and times are shown in, then select Save preferences.
• ATIS trip prices are always in US dollars.
• An invoice keeps the currency and the exchange rate it was issued with. Later changes in rates do not change it.
• To switch between a light and a dark screen, use Light / dark at the bottom of the page.
