Answer a photo request

A photo request is a short brief from ATIS: what we want photographed, what each accepted photo pays, how many photos we need, and until when. Anyone can read a request. Only an active field contributor can answer one for pay.

1. Open Contribute and look at Open photo requests. A page that needs photos also shows a "Photos wanted" line with the link See the photo request.
2. Read the brief, Pays per accepted photo, Photos still wanted, and Closes.
3. Sign in and select Answer this request.
4. Choose your photos, add captions, and for each photo say whether anyone in it can be recognised.
5. Accept the photo rights agreement and select Submit photos.

Good to know

• Not a contributor yet? The button says Become a contributor to answer this. See Become a contributor and earn. You can still share your photos for free.
• Each accepted photo is paid the request's price, up to the number the request still wants. The amount is fixed when the photo is accepted.
• A request closes when it has enough photos or when its closing date passes. Photos accepted after it is full count as ordinary photos.
• A request marked Extended licence allows ATIS to share the accepted photos with the partners it names. Whether extended requests are offered: Owner to confirm.
• Every photo is reviewed on its own. The reasons a photo can be declined are listed in Why a story was declined.
• If a new request opens in your home area, we may send you a message.
• The Contribute page shows prices in your chosen currency. Your earnings are recorded in US dollars.
