Listing tiers, sponsorship, and advertising on ATIS, what each one does, and why payment never buys verification.

A listing on ATIS is free and always will be. Paid products buy placement, never trust.

One rule first

No product changes a verification mark. Marks are earned through a check by ATIS staff. A paid listing is labelled Featured, in its own colour, so a reader can always tell the two apart. See How ATIS verifies businesses.

Listing tiers

  • Free, for every business in Afghanistan: a full listing with contact channels, hours, amenities, and a gallery; inquiries and WhatsApp leads with reference codes; editing your own listing; a monthly report; and verification by ATIS when you are ready.
  • Basic, for a business that wants to be found first: everything in Free, and your listing is placed before free listings in your category.
  • Featured, for a business that wants the province page: everything in Basic, the Featured label on your card, and first place in your category in your province.

Prices are set for each product and shown in your currency on the pricing page. The launch prices: Owner to confirm.

Sponsorship

A sponsorship shows one of your pages in a block labelled "Sponsored" on a place page, and on the pages of the places inside it, above the usual lists. A place sponsorship is a product on the pricing page. Which page is promoted and where is agreed with ATIS staff (Owner to confirm: how).

Advertising

Advertisements appear in fixed spaces on place, home, and directory pages, always labelled Advertisement. How to book an advertisement: Owner to confirm.

How to pay

You order a listing tier or a sponsorship from My businesses, under Plan, and pay against an invoice by bank transfer, cash, or hawala. See Pay an invoice.

Questions

  • Does paying make my listing verified? No. Verification is a check by ATIS staff and cannot be bought.
  • Can I be Featured without being verified? Yes, and your card says so honestly: the Featured label without a mark.
  • What happens when I stop paying? Your listing goes back to Free, with everything it had. Nothing is deleted, and your verification stays.
  • How do I know it works? Your monthly report shows views, contacts, inquiries, and the impressions and clicks of sponsorships and advertisements. See Read your monthly report.
